Prof. Dr. Oliver Riesterer is the designated head of the Center for Radiation Oncology at Cantonal Hospitals Aarau and Baden. He is also a professor and research associate of the University of Zurich. His major research interests are clinical studies with translational research questions including novel treatment techniques, functional imaging, quantitative image analysis (radiomics), serum and tissue biomarkers and biological modification of radiotherapy by means of hyperthermia. Long_Bio

Dietmar Marder

Dietmar Marder is a physicist with a professional development in medical physics. Since 2011 he is responsible for planning, treatment and quality assurance in the hyperthermia group of the Kantonsspital Aarau. He is also active in the technical committee of ESHO in developing new QA guidelines for hyperthermia equipment.

Prof.Dr. Stephan Bodis

has been the Director of the Institute of Radiation Oncology of Kantonsspital Aarau since 2003. In September 2012, he was appointed Full Professor of the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich and became an Associate Physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology of the University Hospital Zurich.

His work concerns clinical aspects of molecular radiobiology, the application of photon and proton radiotherapy and the combination of hyperthermia with radiotherapy in the treatment of various cancers. The Institute of Radiation Oncology of Kantonsspital Aarau is the only institute in German speaking Switzerland that offers hyperthermia in combination with radiotherapy. Long_Bio
